Mission statement

The mission of CAPKR is to develop and improve the existing knowledge, understanding and expertise regarding the drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic (DMPK) processes involved within the framework of the drug research, selection, development and clinical evaluation.  Consistent with its mission, CAPKR aims to maintain the position of a leading world centre of expertise and excellence in DMPK research, learning and teaching as well as in advancing implementation of the resulting methodology into industrial practices.

Research

All CAPKR research projects are concerned with mechanism-based prediction of human pharmacokinetics and reflect the broad spectrum of pharmacokinetic activities within the pharmaceutical industry.  CAPKR is a consortium operating in collaboration with, and supported by the pharmaceutical industry.
