Centre for Innovation in Practice

What we do

The Centre for Innovation in Practice (CIP) was established in 2004, and undertakes high quality research to inform policy decisions on health interventions and the delivery and organisation of health care.

Our research

We specialise in applied research relating to medicines usage and safety, and policy and programme evaluation of pharmacy organisations and innovative services involving pharmacists. We are a leading research centre in this field.

2010 Health Services Research and Pharmacy Practice Conference

The University of Manchester will host the 16th Health Services Research and Pharmacy Practice Conference between 12-13 April 2010. The theme of the conference will be "Pharmacy Practice Research - Coming of age?". Further details will be available from the HSRPP website.
