Employment destinations, practice patterns, and cultural differences between a ten-year cohort of white and ethnic minority Manchester pharmacy graduates
This was one of the first empirical studies describing the employment destinations and practice patterns of pharmacy graduates in the UK. Differences between the white and ethnic minority pharmacists were observed, including differences in motivation for joining pharmacy, levels of job satisfaction, and practice patterns. Analysis of secondary data obtained from UCAS, and a postal survey of Manchester students who graduated between 1983 and 1992 was undertaken as part of the study.
