Drug delivery
The main theme of this section is the development of bio-inspired and/or biologically responsive drug carriers. Examples range from liposomes bearing peptidic functions that allow entrance into target cells or nanoparticles that respond to inflammatory signals.
We are also involved in activities in tissue engineering and regeneration, polymer chemistry, biopharmaceutical processing and evaluation, classic solid dosage forms, development of advanced scattering and microscopy techniques.
