Note: Students are accepted from a wide range of backgrounds. Although each application is considered individually, please note that the School will not consider applications from candidates who have narrowly missed gaining direct entry to Year 1 of the MPharm programme.

Applicants to the MPharm course that fail to make the entrance qualifications will not be eligible for the Year 0 Foundation Course.

Course description

The Foundation Year is the Year 0 component of the undergraduate MPharm degree designed to provide an excellent opportunity for students to adapt to the higher education system. It prepares students for entry to the University of Manchester Pharmacy degree.

Students will be accepted from a wide range of educational backgrounds and each application will be considered individually.

Following successful completion of the Foundation Year, students have a guaranteed place on the first year of the MPharm undergraduate degree programme.
