  1. Create the directory C:\PopDes
    If you choose to use a different directory, please use its path (in place of C:\PopDes) when following these instructions.
  2. Download PopDes4.0.zip [6.13 MB] and save it to the directory C:\PopDes

  3. Unzip popdes.zip in the directory C:\PopDes

  4. Start Matlab, set the path in Matlab for PopDes by selecting ‘Set Path’ from the file menu in the Matlab command window, click on ‘Add Folder’, browse to PopDes folder in the computer (C:\PopDes) and double click the folder, then save and close.

 

Note: To be able to use all the features of PopDes, there must be statistics and optimisation toolboxes in addition to basic MATLAB installed.
