The pharmacy labour market: International movement of pharmacists to and from GB
The first pharmacy workforce census identified that nearly 11% of the GB register of pharmacists was working or living overseas. This represents a significant proportion of pharmacists who are not part of the GB labour market, and who are potentially contributing to the workforce shortage. This study is being undertaken to explore who these pharmacists are, why they have moved overseas, and to identify their future intentions.
