New ways of studying
The School's programmes, for postgraduate students, cater for the different needs that a wide cross-section of potential students may have.
The School offers a part-time postgraduate diploma in clinical and health services pharmacy. This programme aims to equip pharmacists with the skills needed to provide a high level of pharmaceutical services which will improve the quality of patient care.
Aside from this programme, the School also offers innovative courses that can be completed by text-based, distributed learning. The postgraduate diplomas or MSc programme in Pharmaceutical Industrial Sciences (PIAT) can be studied in this way.

Former courses: Pharmaceutical Engineering Advanced Training (PEAT)(MSc/PGDip)is no longer run by the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences are waiting final approval to run a similar programme:
